The key difference between pergolas and arbors are appearance. Arbors usually have two or four posts, while pergolas almost always have four or more posts. The sides of a pergola are left open, but an arbor has its sides covered with lattice or trellis. Pergolas are usually building using aluminum, vinyl, cedarwood, or redwood while arbors consist of vinyl, composite, wood, or metal.

If you choose us to build your pergola or arbor,  we will create a comprehensive design plan, complete with a detailed, fixed contract and 3D design rendering. Arbors and covered porches are covered by 2 years of workmanship. We ensure the wood is in good condition when installed. However, natural changes like checking, splitting, cracking, splintering, and shrinking are not covered by the warranty. Since wood is affected by factors we can't control, we won't cover any issues caused by lack of staining, improper watering, drought, freezing, insect damage, or abuse. If any of these happen, the warranty is no longer valid.
